Are we Practicing 3rd & Long TOO MUCH?
Penn State OC Andy Kotelnicki says we're practicing 3 & Long way too much based on their study. And ETSU Head Coach Tre Lamb said they would practice 10 minutes on something that only happened 1.3 times per game. Watch here:
Used to practice 3rd and long for 10 minutes on a Wednesday. Dumb. Only happens 1.3x per game. That was the biggest takeaway for this study for us 2 years ago. And 2 & 10 post incomplete needs to be practiced a lot.
